Dilators are commonly used by women recovering from vaginal surgery, cervical cancer treatment, or those managing vaginismus, menopause or GSM. Dilation therapy is a process that involves the careful, comfortable and slow insertion of a dilator into the vagina. It is used to relax tight muscles, improve blood flow, enhance natural lubrication, and make vaginal penetration easier and more comfortable.

We always recommend using lubricants with Soul Source dilators to significantly enhance the experience and effectiveness of dilation therapy. YES water-based lubricant and YES plant-oil based lubricant are both compatible with Soul Source dilators. 

The YES lubricants range is designed to support the vaginal microbiome, this is because they are osmotically and pH-matched to the vagina. Speak to a healthcare professional who specialises in pelvic floor disorders for the most effective physical therapeutic benefit. 

Care instructions

Clean thoroughly after each use. Wash with warm water and mild soap. Soul Source dilators can be sterilised in one litre of boiling water with two tablespoons of vinegar. Thoroughly air dry and store in an open air environment
 or in a cotton bag.
