Ultimate V contains an award winning and patented blend of clinically researched vaginal lactobacillus strains, proven to reach the vagina alive. Lactobacillus species are the most common bacterial species found in a healthy vagina, contributing to vaginal health by promoting a balanced vaginal microbiome. 

Containing the following vaginal Lactobacillus species: 

  • L. crispatus (LBV 88)
  • L. rhamnosus (LBV 96)
  • L. jensenii (LBV 150N)
  • L. gasseri (LBV 116)

Recommended use

The vagina is home to many microbes including bacteria and yeast, and together they form the vaginal microbiome. Maintaining the right balance of these microbes is important given they play a protective role in genitourinary health. 

The vaginal microbiome is a dynamic environment, affected by factors including age, sexual activity, medications (specifically antibiotics), hormone fluctuations in pregnancy, menstruation and menopause, ethnicity, lifestyle and diet. 

When the vaginal microbiome is imbalanced, also known as dysbiosis, harmful microbes can colonise, and these have been linked to a number of conditions including bacterial vaginosis (BV), aerobic
 vaginitis (AV) and vulvovaginal candidiasis (genital thrush).

Lactobacillus strains show potential in preventing and managing these conditions.

Instruction for use

Take one capsule orally and daily, preferably in the morning.

Ultimate V is best paired with food.

Maintenance use:
Maintain a healthy vaginal microbiome by taking Ultimate V daily.

Intensive use:
If recommended by your healthcare professional, the daily dose can be increased to 2 capsules a day.

Do not exceed recommended daily dosage.
Keep below 25°C.
