Yes Labs Oil-Based Lubricant is a nourishing, organic lubricant made from plant oils and butters. It forms a soft, cushioning layer that stays in place to lubricate, moisturise and protect the delicate skin of the vulva and vagina, giving lasting comfort without interfering with your intimate health.
Its blend of shea butter, cocoa seed butter, sweet almond oil and sunflower seed oil is certified organic, with no preservatives, parabens, glycerin, sugars or synthetic ingredients, and it’s formulated to minimise the risk of irritation. The texture is silky and hydrating, and it leaves skin feeling clean rather than greasy, which makes it a good choice for dryness that’s ongoing rather than occasional. It’s odourless, and there’s no need to wash it off after use, as it’s beneficial for skin.
Use it on its own as an everyday moisturiser, or pair it with Yes Labs Water-Based Lubricant for extra glide.
Natural, lasting comfort.
Good to know
Why does my tube look different?
YES is now Yes Labs, so the packaging has a fresh new look. The formula and ingredients haven’t changed, so if you’ve used YES OB before, this is the same product you know.
What’s in it?
Sunflower seed oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, beeswax, cocoa seed butter and vitamin E. Everything except the vitamin E is certified organic, and there are no preservatives, parabens, glycerin, sugars or synthetic ingredients.
How do I use it?
Apply a small amount to the vulva and vaginal opening, and reapply whenever you need to. You can use it every day as a moisturiser for ongoing dryness, or before and during sex for comfort and glide. There’s no need to wash it off afterwards.
Can I use it with the Water-Based Lubricant?
Yes, and they work well together. The Oil-Based Lubricant gives a soft, cushioning layer of moisture, and the Water-Based Lubricant adds extra slip.
Can I use it with condoms?
No. It isn’t condom compatible, so if you use condoms, choose Yes Labs Water-Based Lubricant instead. It isn’t a contraceptive.
Can I use it with Kaito and my dilators?
Yes. It’s suitable to use with silicone devices, including Kaito Sky, Kaito Sea and our Soul Source silicone dilators.
Is it suitable during menopause or cancer treatment?
It’s hormone free, and many women find it helpful for dryness that’s ongoing rather than occasional, including through the menopause, around breastfeeding, and during or after cancer treatment. If you’re currently having treatment, check with your care team before using any new product.
Is there anyone who shouldn’t use it?
It contains sweet almond oil, so please don’t use it if you have a nut allergy.
How long does it keep?
Use it within four months of opening. You’ll find the expiry date on the base of the carton and on the crimped edge of the tube.
How big is the tube?
100ml
