Sjögren’s syndrome
Sjögren’s syndrome is an autoimmune condition mainly affecting women (average female to male ratio 9:1).1
This condition affects the secretory glands that produce saliva, tears, vaginal, and other secretions develop a form of inflammation. As a result, these glands stop working, leading to dry eyes, dry mouth, dry skin, vaginal dryness and dryness of the gastrointestinal tract.
