Endocrine therapy

 

Treatment for oestrogen positive breast cancers may include endocrine therapy (e.g. tamoxifen). Because Endocrine therapy blocks the natural mode of action of oestrogen in the body gynaecological side effects will include vaginal dryness and the thinning of the vaginal and vulval tissue.
